On the boat ramps workers will be inspecting boats and trailers for any signs they are carrying Eurasian watermilfoil. But with 2 major boat ramps and only three workers, there are times the boat ramps are left unattended. The major concern is with coverage is on weekends and holidays when the number of boaters using our ramps increases significantly.

There is an opportunity for volunteers to assist any weekday, weekend, and/or holidays to help prevent Eurasian watermilfoil from entering Henrys Lake.  Each volunteer would cover a boat ramp for four hours to educate boaters about the harm Eurasian watermilfoil can do to our lake. Some volunteers may want to contribute many times per month and that is possible.  Volunteers will be provided a Henrys Lake tag for identification and a procedure checklist for conducting the interview with the boater.
